Visiting the Stephens College Campus

Students Vist the Stephens Campus

The summer before your junior or senior year is the best time to visit campus; then, if possible, we recommend that you schedule another more comprehensive visit during the regular academic year when activities are in full swing at Stephens College. The Stephens College Office of Admissions is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and by appointment. Please call (800) 876-7207 or e-mail our Campus Visit Coordiantor at visit_stephens@stephens.edu.

(Note: The Office of Admissions will observe summer hours from May 15th through August 1st. We will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. From May 15 to June 6 Admissions Counselors will be available until 6:00 PM Central time by phone.)

Summer Registration

Rewards of a Campus Visit
When you visit the Stephens campus, the Office of Admissions will help offset some of your travel expenses by...

...waiving the $25 application fee.

...reimbursing you for airfare. If you fly in for a visit, you'll be awarded a voucher worth half the cost of your airline coach ticket (up to $300) to be applied toward your first Stephens tuition payment.

...reimbursing you for round-trip van fare on Mo-X from St. Louis or Kansas City. This immediate reimbursement is not contingent upon your enrolling at Stephens.

We invite you to visit Stephens while classes are in session. Please call us to discuss your plans during your visit. This allows us to customize your experience on campus and allows you to make the most of your visit.

Capus Visit

Day and Overnight Visits
Day and overnight events highlight for students everyday life at Stephens College. During these visits, students and their families engage in planned activities, including a campus tour, class sessions, student/parent panels, program presentations, admission and financial aid sessions, and overnight stays. Preview Days is a great opportunity to meet your potential future classmates!

Stephens College is located in Columbia, Mo., a vibrant college town that Money magazine consistently ranks as one of the best places to live in the nation. Getting here from the North and South
Take Highway 63 to the Broadway exit. Travel west on Broadway approximately two miles to the Stephens campus. Lela Raney Wood Hall is located at the northeast corner of Broadway and College Avenue. Visitor parking is available on the north side of the Lela Raney Wood. The Office of Admissions is located on the second floor.

Getting here from the East and West
Take Interstate 70 to Highway 63, the Jefferson City exit. Travel south on Highway 63 to the Broadway exit. Travel west on Broadway approximately two miles to the Stephens campus.Lela Raney Wood Hall is located at the northeast corner of Broadway and College Avenue. Visitor parking is available on the north side of the Lela Raney Wood. The Office of Admissions is located on the second floor.
