About Dr. Craig McCoy, DO, FACOG

Dr. Craig McCoy is an Osteopathic Physician with more than 25 years of experience in women’s health and pelvic medicine. Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1998 and in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery since 2014, Dr. McCoy specializes in the management of bladder control issues, pelvic organ prolapse, endometriosis, and chronic pelvic pain. He is particularly passionate about minimally invasive surgical techniques that improve patient outcomes and quality of life.

In addition to his clinical practice at Moberly Regional Medical Center, Dr. McCoy has served as a consultant for leading medical device companies, including Boston Scientific, Coloplast, and Bovie Medical Corporation. He is also a robotic surgery trainer for Intuitive Surgical, providing instruction to physicians across the U.S. and abroad. His research experience includes prospective studies and pilot projects, with a focus on advancing surgical technology and medical device innovation.

Dr. McCoy serves on multiple medical advisory boards and continues to contribute to the development of new approaches in women’s health care. He also holds adjunct faculty appointments with the University of Missouri, A.T. Still University, and the Stephens College PA Program, where he is committed to mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals.

As Medical Director of the Stephens College Master of Physician Assistant Studies Program, Dr. McCoy brings a wealth of clinical expertise, leadership, and a deep commitment to education, ensuring students are well-prepared to provide excellent patient care.
