About Lisa Bao
Lisa Bao most recently worked as a Co-Producer/Writer on NANCY DREW (CW) where she rose from staff writer to co-producer during its four seasons. During her tenure on Nancy Drew, Lisa wrote and produced 8 episodes of the hit series, which streams internationally on HBO Max. Prior to staffing on Nancy Drew, Lisa was a 2018 CAPE New Writers Mentoring Program Fellow and 2018/2019 CBS Writers Mentoring Program Fellow. Both fellowships launched her career in television and staffed her on her first show. In a former life, Lisa worked as a civil litigator in a variety of law firms dealing with a diverse range of legal issues from sports law, family law, trust and estates, to real estate. Her experiences as a lawyer frequently inspires her writing. Lisa is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine and Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. She is also a member of the State Bar of California and the Writers Guild of America West (WGAW).
