Imagine your next event against the dramatic backdrop of floor to ceiling arched windows, hardwood flooring, fireplace, vintage soda parlor and striking chandeliers. This gorgeous space not only possesses historic charm, but is also equipped with modern amenities, including a digital projector with a 16 x 12-foot retractable screen, programmable lighting and automatic window shades. The ballroom is also home to a vintage soda shop complete with a soda fountain, perfect for snack bars and of course, photo-ops.

Kimball Ballroom’s versatile 6,000 square-foot floor plan can accommodate up to 300 guests seated at banquet tables, or up to 350 guests in our large party layout. Built in 1938 and restored in 2006, the one-of-a-kind Kimball Ballroom of Lela Raney Wood Hall is the perfect setting for a grand celebration. The entire stock of tables, chairs and linens are included in your venue rental. American Dining and Creations is the onsite caterer and will provide an entire menu of food and bar options.

Housed in Historic Lela Raney Wood Hall (affectionately known as LRW), Kimball Ballroom has been home to events of all kinds for nearly a century.

Soaring arched windows let in a plethora of natural light, giving the space a bright, airy feel.

Transformed by night, Kimball Ballroom has dramatic lighting options built in.

The small Kimball Ballroom stage can be set up to suit your vision or used as a bandstand.

The large Kimball Ballroom stage is a great place to present from or to set up catering in an out-of-the-way space of its own.

The Hugh Stephens Library Penthouse is a newly renovated space that overlooks Columbia with floor to ceiling windows on three of the four walls. This is a beautiful Mid-Century Modern event space that includes solid wood ceiling, with a show stopping hanging fireplace in the front of this event space. The venue footprint of this space includes the entire top floor of the Hugh Stephens Library, including two restrooms and small catering kitchen. 

There are no included audio or visual equipment pieces included. The entire stock of tables, chairs and linens are included in your venue rental, and this space has exclusive use of Stephens stock of Chiavari Chairs. American Dining and Creations is the onsite caterer and will provide an entire menu of food and bar options. The entire venue space is wheelchair accessible.

For a romantic setting filled with beautiful details reminiscent of another time, Historic Senior Hall offers spaces for all your wedding day reception needs. Start the wedding festivities by hosting your rehearsal dinner in the grand setting of Historic Senior Hall’s Recital Hall. This space can also serve as reception space for an intimate celebration of your newly minted commitment with close family and friends. The Recital Hall features a hardwood stage perfect for your band or DJ and for bridal party toasts. Elegant drama is also present in the room in the form of the floor-to-ceiling windows that allow soft, natural light to enter the space.

In addition to the Recital Hall, Senior Hall also features a unique set of attached Parlors that can be used to host cocktail hour or for the bridal party to prepare for the ceremony. Host your wedding day in the enchantingly elegant venue of Senior Hall and you and your guests are sure to remember it for years to come. A projector and retractable screen are available in the Recital Hall along with a connected computer station. The computer station may not be moved under any circumstances. The Recital Hall stage does not have a wheelchair access. The rest of the venue footprint is wheelchair accessible. The double front parlors at Senior Hall are original to the structure. Use these rooms to get ready for the big day or to host an intimate event.

What began as a humble 2-story home has evolved into a gorgeous historic landmark that is now home to the Conservatory for the Performing Arts at Stephens College.

Windsor Auditorium is the largest theatre-style seated space on campus. The venue rental footprint of Windsor Auditorium includes the main stage plus seating, commons area entrance with access from Broadway and the commons area restrooms.

There is a projector and retractable screen available for this space with access to a computer station on stage. Windsor Auditorium is wheelchair accessible from the lower level only. Food and drinks are not permitted in this space, and events with refreshments can use the Columbia Foyer, just outside Windsor Auditorium.

Kimball Boardroom is a small conference space located on the Mezzanine level of Lela Raney Wood Hall. The venue rental footprint of this space includes the conference room; access to the elevator and stairwells between floors one and two only, and the restrooms provided on the mezzanine floor. This room can be rented with Kimball Ballroom, as a Get Ready Room for the Bridal Party, or on its own for a meeting space.
