About Elizabeth Herrera

Elizabeth Herrera is a passionate women’s advocate and veteran leader dedicated to fostering equity and resilience. As the executive director of Mission Promise Kept at Stephens College, she leads a transformative program providing women veterans with housing, childcare, healthcare, and career support, creating a nurturing environment for success. Additionally, as the Director of Latin American Initiatives, Elizabeth drives efforts to expand educational opportunities and empower underserved communities in Latin America. A U.S. Air Force veteran, Elizabeth brings her lived experiences to her advocacy for marginalized communities. She also hosts radio shows on KOPN, amplifying stories of empowerment and inclusion. Serving on the boards of the Missouri Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence (MCADSV) and Planned Parenthood Great Plains, Elizabeth embodies a lifelong commitment to championing women and creating lasting impact.
