About Christi Hopkins

Christi Hopkins brings more than 16 years of leadership experience in higher education, specializing in enrollment strategy, student success, and cross-functional operations.

Prior to joining Stephens College, Hopkins served as Vice President for Enrollment at McPherson College. During her tenure, she led transformative initiatives that more than doubled first-year student enrollment, significantly enhanced the college’s visibility, and fostered strong collaboration across admissions, financial aid, marketing, and retention efforts.

Hopkins is recognized for her strategic, student-centered approach. She has developed comprehensive enrollment strategies that emphasize access, affordability, and long-term success. Her work includes launching innovative financial wellness and mentorship initiatives, along with implementing data-informed tuition and scholarship models designed to support both recruitment and retention.

Hopkins holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Baker University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Southwest Baptist University. She is an active member of several national and regional professional organizations, including the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO), and the Kansas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (KACRAO).

Beyond her professional pursuits, Hopkins is an avid music enthusiast and French Horn player. She has performed with the McPherson Community Brass Choir and the Salina Symphony.
