About Darren Gibson

As the first graduate of The New Ballet School at the age of 16, Darren Gibson became a principal dancer and ballet master while also serving on the board of directors. Gibson staged ballets for Richmond Ballet and Boston Ballet, and assisted Ann Reinking for the American Ballet Theatre. He appeared as a featured performer in George C. Wolfe’s New York Shakespeare Festival production and Broadway revival of On the Town, and Twyla Tharp’s Movin’ Out.  He was an assistant choreographer for The Look of Love, choreographed by Ann Reinking, and was an original cast member in the first national tour of Fosse. Gibson was a featured performer and resident director/choreographer in London West End’s production of Fosse and Movin’ Out.  Other credits include: City Center Encores: House of FlowersNo Strings! and the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular.  Current member of AEA, AGMA and AGVA.
