Stephens College is home.

By living on campus, you’re just steps away from friends, professors, classrooms, labs, dining and free laundry facilities!
You’ll also have access to facility crews when needed and 24-hour, 7-day security. Halls have Wi-fi throughout. Common spaces allow for studying and meeting together. Residence hall staff plan special events throughout the year.
We have traditional residential halls with residential advisers and programming. We have pet-friendly housing as well as halls where pets are not allowed.

Residence Halls

Dimensions of typical rooms (corner rooms vary):
- Single room or double room with suite-style bathroom. Suite style room size: 14 x 13 ft.
- Single room or double room with a community bathroom. Community-style room size: 11 x 13 ft.
- Junior or senior status: Columbia Hall: 2- and 4-bedroom. Apartment size: ~750 sq. ft. and ~500 sq. ft.

Prunty Hall
Prunty, named after former dean Merle Prunty, provides balconies and study lounges, and rooms complete with central heating and air conditioning. Residents share community bathrooms and kitchen space.

Tower Hall
Named for its unique architecture, Tower Hall offers suite-style rooms and is entirely pet friendly. Residents can relax or watch television in spacious lounges or gather in the shared kitchen. Tower also offers apartments.

Wood Hall
Wood Hall features one- and two-bedroom units air-conditioned and fully furnished. Each floor has common areas, and there is a community kitchen in the building. Wood, which is a pet-free residence hall, is named for former Stephens College President James Madison Wood.

Searcy Hall
Searcy Hall, historically known as Pet Central, is entirely pet friendly. Searcy features balconies and cozy lounges on each floor that are perfect study spots. The hall, named after beloved former professor Laura Searcy, is open to any student, and residents share community bathrooms. Searcy is also home to our Doggy Daycare!

Columbia Hall
Columbia Hall offers two- and four-bedroom apartments. Each apartment is fully furnished, air-conditioned and includes a kitchen with refrigerator, stove and a sink, as well as a private bath. Laundry facilities are provided on each floor. Columbia is a pet-free hall. Columbia Hall is typically filled with upperclass students.

Dining Services

Our centrally located dining hall offers lots of choices for hot meals, including vegetarian and vegan entrees.
There’s a made-to-order grill, fresh salad, fresh fruit and dessert bar. Our in-house chefs pay close attention to dietary needs and are inclusive of everyone in our campus community. Frequent food forums give all students the opportunity to help shape future menus.
Stamper Commons Dining Hall
Our dining hall in Stamper Commons is open throughout the day and is a great place to meet up with friends.
Lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch are served in Stamper.

Stars Café
Need an extra cup of Joe? We have you covered, serving Starbucks Coffee. Whether you like your coffee hot or cold, our experienced baristas will serve up your favorites. This is also a great spot to grab specialty sandwiches and wraps, bagged chips, snacks, bagels and more. You will be obsessed!
