Whether you’re planning your annual giving or exploring ways to reduce taxable income, an IRA gift can make a significant difference for our students and programs.

Why Give Through Your IRA?

Tax Benefits: A Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) allows individuals aged 70½ or older to donate directly from their IRA to a qualified charity, like Stephens College, without incurring taxable income.

Meet RMD Requirements: If you’re 73 or older, your IRA gift can satisfy your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD), making your philanthropy work smarter for you.

Impact: Your gift supports transformative education, scholarships, campus enhancements, and other key initiatives at Stephens College.

Key Considerations

• QCDs can be made up to $100,000 annually per individual.

• To qualify, the gift must be transferred directly from your IRA to Stephens College.

• IRA gifts do not qualify for additional charitable deductions but provide immediate tax advantages by reducing taxable income.

An IRA gift to Stephens College creates lasting impact while helping you achieve your financial goals. Your generosity ensures that Stephens continues to inspire, educate, and empower generations of students.
