Gilly Slayter will explore how applying behavioral principles allows trainers to create, modify, and understand equine behavior with strategy and empathy—removing ego from the process and fostering true partnership between horse and rider.

About the Speaker:
Gilly Slayter brings decades of experience in elite-level competition, training, and equine welfare. A USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist and former member of the USEA Developing Riders squad, she is passionate about integrating positive reinforcement and behavioral science into traditional dressage and eventing training. Gilly is currently Barn Manager and Trainer at Via Nova Training Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
