About Jerod Quinn

Jerod Quinn, Ph.D.’s, professional career has revolved around the same goal: partnering with instructors to help them create courses they love to teach, in which students are eager to enroll, and administrators are proud to promote. He is currently the director of the Center for Teaching & Learning at Stephens College. He has held previous teaching and course design roles at Wake Forest University, the University of Missouri, and Saint Louis University. He has led projects and teams for course redesigns, academic program development, and even teaching conferences. He’s earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Missouri. Jerod’s academic work focuses on self-determined motivation, creativity in learning, design thinking, and quantitative measurement. When he’s not dreaming about teaching and learning, you can find him wandering through the state parks of Missouri or building the occasional guitar.
