About Julia Gundacker ’22
Julia Gundacker teaches multi-age elementary at the Children’s School, primarily Kindergarten through 2nd grade. She was a preschool teacher for 3 years until earning her bachelor’s in Early Childhood/Elementary Education at Stephens College in 2022. Julia also holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Flute Performance from the University of Arizona and The University of Alabama, respectively. From her work as a preschool teacher, Julia has an extensive background in social/emotional learning through Conscious Discipline, a passion that she carries with her in her work with the students at the Children’s School. Julia also teaches private flute lessons in the community and plays flute/piccolo in the Columbia Civic Orchestra. She is passionate about running and can often be found on the MKT trail on the weekends.
