About Maureen Driscoll

Maureen Driscoll is a comedy writer whose television credits include Jimmy Kimmel Live, the MADtv re-boot and the Nickelodeon Game Show BrainSurge, which earned her a Daytime Emmy nomination. She has also written animation and game shows, and her ten-minute play The Last Laugh had its Los Angeles debut in January 2020, right before no one was allowed to sit inside a cramped theater anymore. She is the author of 25 books and made her television acting debut in January 2023 at the tender age of 59. She has an M.A. in legislative affairs from George Washington University and a B.A. in journalism from the University of Oregon. She’s a member of both the WGA West and SAG-AFTRA.
