About Rashaan Dozier-Escalante
Rashaan Dozier-Escalante ’19 is a former U.S. Army Reservist and Senior Physical Security Specialist/Analyst with Top Secret Clearance for the federal government. A writer and director of documentaries, public service announcements, and training media for non-profits and the federal government, she’s completed internships on HBO’s West World and Big Little Lies. In 2018, Rashaan and her pilot McKenna’s Callings were chosen to participate in both the Producers’ Guild of America Diversity Program and the CBS Writing Mentorship Program. She has served on the writing staffs of the CBS drama series SEAL Team and The Equalizer. A graduate of the Stephens College MFA in TV and Screenwriting, Rashaan is a member of the WGA and a director member of the DGA.
