About Sarah Irvin
Dr. Sarah D. Irvin received her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of Holy Cross in New Orleans. She received her M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Delta State University and her B.A. in Educational Psychology from Mississippi State University. Dr. Irvin is a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in working with clients coping with severe mental illnesses. She is also the Program Chair of the Law and Ethics in Counseling Conference held annually in New Orleans. Dr. Irvin enjoys presenting at state and national level conferences on topics such as forgiveness, self-care, and counselor supervision. Her research interests include counselor wellness and self-care and counselor supervision.
