Mission Promise Kept
We believe that every American veteran deserves our gratitude, respect and support. But we know that women veterans, in particular, often face unique challenges.
That’s why we’ve created Mission Promise Kept: to empower women veterans to earn college degrees, achieve personal success and attain financial independence.

Our Services
- Academic Advising: Personalized guidance to help you navigate your academic journey.
- Mental Health Support: Access to therapists who understand veterans’ unique challenges.
- Career Counseling: Assistance with job placement, resume building, and networking opportunities.
- Financial Assistance: Information and support for accessing scholarships, grants, and other financial aid.
- Veteran Community Events: Regular events and workshops designed to foster community and support among veteran students.
Dedicated Support for Women Veterans
Mission Promise Kept is a community specially designed for women veterans. This program offers the same benefits as other veterans, with additional support tailored to their unique needs.
- Pet- and Family-Friendly Community: Stephens is the most pet-friendly women’s college in the country. Please bring your children and your furry companions, our community is built to support and celebrate the full spectrum of your life.
- Coordinated Support Services: Access a robust network of academic, medical, mental health, legal, and social services through trusted campus and community partners. Life skills training and career development resources are included.
- Affordable, On-Campus Childcare: Access to the on-campus Children’s School and neighborhood public schools for affordable, supportive and coordinated childcare.
- Veteran Center Access: All Mission Promise Kept participants have access to the Stephens College Veteran Center and its full range of veteran-specific resources and support services.
- No Additional Program Cost: There are no extra fees to participate in Mission Promise Kept. Students pay standard tuition, room, and board—offset by GI Bill benefits, financial aid, and scholarships.
Join our veteran community today and take advantage of our resources and support. Whether you need academic advice or mental health support or want to connect with fellow veterans, the Center of Excellence for Veteran Student Success is here for you.
