New Vice President for Finance & Administration/CFO Announced
Stephens College has announced the appointment of Dr. Jonathan Sadhoo as its new Vice President for Finance & Administration and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective January 1, 2026.
Dr. Sadhoo joins Stephens following six years of service at Independence Community College (ICC) in Independence, Kansas, where he currently serves as President and Chief Financial Officer, overseeing operations including finance, athletics, facilities, information technology, student financial aid, and risk management.
During his tenure at ICC, Dr. Sadhoo led significant institutional initiatives, such as implementing a new student records system, launching the Tuition-Free Program for City Employees, and securing the ADOPT Grant to expand technology access for rural students. His administration also introduced new academic programs, strengthened partnerships with industry and community organizations, and championed initiatives that increased student engagement and family participation on campus.

Lundeen, President of Stephens College. “He understands that financial stewardship and student success go hand in hand. As we develop our strategic blueprint for innovation, sustainability, and immersive learning, Dr. Sadhoo’s leadership will be central to building a resilient and thriving future for our students and community.”
Dr. Sadhoo holds an Ed.D. in Higher Education Policy and Leadership from the University of New England, a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Business and Leadership from Northeastern University in Boston.
“I am humbled and honored to serve as the Vice President for Finance & Administration at Stephens College and excited to partner with the entire campus as we develop both our short-term strategy maps and long-term organizational blueprint,” said Dr. Sadhoo. “My goal is to foster partnerships in both the local and campus communities to address opportunities for improvement, establish future sustainability, and ensure the continued success of our students.”
In his free time, Dr. Sadhoo enjoys traveling with his wife, India, and their three children.
