Our Security Team
Our Campus Security team provides security guards on duty all day, every day.
Our Security office is now located in Stamper Commons, Rm 220. This new location places Security in a more central and accessible area of campus, making it easier for students, faculty, staff, and visitors to connect with us when assistance is needed.
Students play a large role in the success of any security program and should always feel free to report any unusual activity. Many improvements to our security process have been made as a result of student feedback at student forums.
Services offered include:
- Three on-campus security offices
- Security escorts on request
- Security cameras throughout campus
- Key card access
- Bi-weekly Walmart trips for shopping needs
- Free bike rental with Stephens’ signature pink bikes – locks included, and helmets available on request
- Cart and Dolly rental
- Parking management and guest passes
- 24×7 access, including after-hours facilities help
- Group bus trips for events with prior approval from the Office of Student Success & Engagement
Emergency Communications
The Security office maintains emergency communications. Students and parents are also encouraged to review safety updates and register to receive safety communications on the Stephens Alert page.
Clery Report
Stephens complies with the Crime Awareness and Campus Security Act and makes available an annual campus security report that includes campus crime statistics, policies and procedures. Reports are posted in the fall of the following year per regulations.
