School Counseling Track

Professional School Counselors help students address their personal, social, educational and career needs in elementary, middle and high schools. Our faculty will prepare you to implement a comprehensive school counseling program, such as the ASCA National Model and the Missouri Comprehensive School Counseling Model.
Our program is approved by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).
We currently offer multiple plans of study that offer students the unique opportunity to become eligible for certification as a school counselor AND licensure as a professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Missouri.
Placement Rate
Our program is well-known for producing competent and prepared school counselors. Currently, our graduates have a 90+% placement rate. Several of our recent graduates were hired for jobs prior to graduation.
