Stephens College Celebrates Nursing Faculty Achievements

Dr. Janet Chance-Hetzler has been selected as a member of the Missouri State Board of Nursing Minimum Standards Task Force. This prestigious appointment involves a two-year commitment, during which Dr. Chance-Hetzler will collaborate with other experts to review and revise the state’s minimum standards governing nursing programs. Her selection to this influential task force reflects her expertise and dedication to advancing nursing education in Missouri.
In another remarkable achievement, Dr. Heidi Monroe will be a presenter at the 2025 Annual Nursing Student Convention. Scheduled to take place on April 7-8 in St. Louis, this convention is a key event for nursing students and professionals. Dr. Monroe will be presenting on the vital topics of Health & Wellness, Self Care, and Transition, offering valuable insights to attendees and contributing to the ongoing education and well-being of future nurses.
