What to Bring to Campus

What to Bring to Campus

You’re about to start an incredible new chapter, and we’re thrilled to welcome you into the Stephens community. To help you focus on connecting, creating, and diving into campus life, here’s a quick overview of what comes with your room and which items are not allowed in the residence halls.

What’s Provided in Your Room?

Your room comes furnished according to the number of students assigned to that space. Every student room includes:

  • Closet
  • Dresser
  • Desk and chair
  • XL Twin bed (Prunty, Searcy, Tower, and double rooms in Wood Hall)
  • Full bed (Wood Hall single rooms and Columbia Hall apartments)

Please note: Additional furniture requests cannot be accommodated. All college‑owned furniture must remain in your assigned room — items may not be moved to hallways, lounges, or other shared spaces. A fine of $10.00 per piece, per day will be issued for furniture found outside its designated area.
